There is much left to accomplish these last seven weeks of our second school year. And much has been accomplished by our students including outside recognition of their skills and effort. These include:

Writing
We had a national winner in the Letters About Literature contest sponsored by the Library of Congress and Target; a state winner for the Veteran's of Foreign Wars essay contest; two winners of the ASU MLK essay contest; a winner in the Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest; fifteen winners in the Grand Canyon State Games essay contest; and many other local, state, and national contests.

Math
Our students participated in the ACSI Math Olympics for 3 rd through 8 th graders. We had eleven students qualify to compete this year out of 56 schools and 1351 students.

Sports
Our girls varsity basketball team won its second championship in two years. Though we had no “superstars” to carry the team, the team did have leadership and selfless play to help them achieve the championship.

We received national accreditation for our high school through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) the largest organization of Christian schools in the world.

Next year we move into the future with continued growth and increasing opportunities for our students and families.

Our junior high/high school will grow from the present 54 students to somewhere between 70 to 84 students. We will be adding additional classes for them also: drama, economics, government, AP Biology, advanced chemistry, and advanced physics.

We will be adding more sports and another league to play in. In addition to the Arizona Independent Christian Schools league (AICS) we will be joining the Charter Athletic Association. This will allow more sports opportunities for the students.

Teachers will be added – one full time and four part time teachers will be added for math, Spanish, computers, and art.

With all these changes, some things will remain the same. We expect to make a positive difference in every student's life. And even though our teachers and students strive to attain exceptional educational goals and exhibit growth in their athletics and arts, it is all for naught if it is achieved outside the instruction of the Bible which is done through the teaching and the lives of mature Christian men and women who care enough to treat your child as the individual he or she is. Yes, some things will never change.
