Like everyone else, we are looking for a few good people. Those who we select to serve our families are more than good, much more. They are all hard working, intense, strong willed, humble Christians. If you are considering being a part of the Bios team of educators or the dedicated support staff, you will need to stand out in the interview process. Here is how you do it.

The interview process begins with a one-on-one screening interview with me, the principal. When you come to the screening interview, you will have to show a commitment to your Christian faith, putting it above all else. A joy for serving people and an enjoyment in their God given uniqueness is a must.

After completing the Bios job application, an interview with the Core is next. They are the team of individuals who were integral to the beginning of Bios. They have a vested interest in supporting me in the hiring of new teachers and support staff. This interview is much more intense and probing than the screening interview. The secret to success at this interview is to convey something like a recent interviewee, who after observing her first class, said she was in "awe" of the ability of the teacher to instruct and train her students. In other words, we hope you fall in love with the opportunities you would have as an instructor at Bios, have insight into the potential to grow each student using the Bios instructional methods, and observe the intense work ethic required to put it all together.

If we all agree to continue, we move to the final step of the interview process, calling at least five references. Sometimes I think this is the most difficult part of the process because you have to rely on the opinions of others to convince us you are the right person to trust in serving our families. We expect a lot. We usually hear comments like " you would be a fool not to hire her " or " I should lie to you and tell you how bad he is so he will not leave us". In other words, we desire for your references to be just as impressed with you as we are.

If you think you have the skills and desire to be a part of this unique educational culture, please contact us soon.
